About the position

We are now expanding the maintenance section with an additional electrical engineer to ensure resources in our ongoing projects and in the ongoing development of maintenance work. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be our specialist in electrical maintenance and work closely with our core operations in water, sewage, and waste management. The tasks are varied and include:

• Planning and preparing electrical maintenance work to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Planning, preparing, and coordinating corrective and preventive maintenance on electrical installations and systems together with our client and the maintenance section's employees.
• Inventory and create maintenance plans for electrical facilities and installations.
• Order external services for electrical maintenance as needed and coordinate the implementation.
• Document maintenance information in our maintenance system.
• Participate in maintaining and optimizing the company's facilities.
• Contribute to business development within electrical maintenance.
• Provide expertise in electrical, electrical maintenance, and electrical issues in projects and operations.

As an electrical engineer, you will report to the section manager of maintenance and belong to our Maintenance section, which is responsible for operational, preventive, and corrective maintenance in mechanics, electrical systems, property technology, as well as support functions in projects and operations. Within the section, there are two other electrical engineers to share experiences and discuss solutions with. Your workplace is in our premises in Librobäck, and there is an opportunity for remote work when the job allows. Travel is included in the position as the company's facilities are located throughout the municipality.

Qualifications

• University, college, or vocational education as an electrical engineer or equivalent competence.
• Work experience in work preparation and planning of maintenance work in electrical engineering.
• Good knowledge of reading drawings and handling technical information.
• Good computer skills.
• Driver's license B is a requirement.
• Work experience in maintenance systems is an advantage.
• Work experience in electrical design and electrical project planning is an advantage.

Other information

A large part of our operations is classified as critical infrastructure as we supply Sweden's fourth largest city with drinking water. For this position, a security clearance with a background check will be conducted before employment. You must also be prepared to be assigned to a military role within the framework of Uppsala Vatten and Avfall's role in total defense. Uppsala Vatten applies a 6-month probationary period.
